When Allie and I first met Celeste and Faisal to go over their wedding photography, they trustingly told us one of their most intimate stories about their courtship. It seems one day Celeste thought it would be funny to scare Faisal, so she hid under his bed while he was in the other room. While he started to look for her, she began to have second thoughts as it was pretty early in their relationship. Celeste recalls…
“Was it too late to abort? I got nervous and started giggling under my breath… but I was committed. When I saw his ankles come by the bed, I grabbed one and yelled “Gotcha!”, but there was no surprise, just laughter, since it turns out he had heard me. It was at that moment that Faisal says he knew he wanted to marry me because as it also turns out, we’re the same kind of quirky.”
On the way home Allie mentioned that was something she would TOTALLY do! We both talked about how much we liked these two and how much their love reminded us of our love. We thought we were the only love dorks – it turns out we were wrong!
Their wedding is coming in a two weeks at SmogShoppe. We could not be more thrilled and honored to photograph this special day for these two special people.
