{ Note: This wedding blog post has been split into two posts. Stay tuned for the second-half. }
Allie and I have such a fondness for the traditions of all the different cultures we have seen and participated in over the last few years. Susan and Omid’s wedding was fantastic as they combined the traditions of the Persian and Armenian cultures. The day started at Susan’s parent’s house for a traditional ceremony in which various members of one family ‘bribe’ the other family with money and desserts. They stole Susan’s shoes and held them for ransom, they threw money in the air, it was crazy!
The celebration didn’t stop there! I’ve said it before and I will say it again, no one dances longer,faster and has more fun than the Persian culture. It is a marathon of dancing and singing in which I always find myself dancing with everyone, camera in hand, snapping away while jumping up and down. SO MUCH FUN! (Those pictures will be in the next post.)
The wedding was at Vibiana, but before we got there, we stopped at Union Station to capture their wedding day portraiture.
I should stress that Susan and Omid, like 95% of our clients, decided to shoot their first look and wedding portraiture BEFORE the ceremony. This allows for much more time to craft our style of imagery - photos like the ones you see below, are often the most cherished throughout our client’s lifetimes.

Elham - It was the most incredible day….susan and omid didn’t look stressed at all…….i am so proud of how they kept thier cool with all the comotion going on around them, but i feel this was partly due to the photographers being around them at every second, and making them feel as though they were stars for that day! I have shown these breathtaking pictures to all my frineds and co-workers and everyone is just amazed at the photography and creativity that was put into these images….and of course, with susan and omid’s awesome personalities depicted in these photos, it made it so easy to bring out thier true characters!!! good job to all of you! Our families will remeber and cherish this day forever!!
Sam - Brian and Allie,
You guys were amazing throughout the wedding process. As much stress as there was for Susan and Omid, I remember Susan repeatedly saying that the easiest, best, and funnest part of this wedding was her photographers. My New York friends were amazed with the slideshow you put together (and so quickly)..and I see Susan in a beautiful new light. Anyone I know of having a wedding in LA or NYC will definitely hear about you guys.
Sami - I love love love these pictures. You guys look amazing. good job guys.
