Sometimes love can be so simple. Take Priscilla and Chet. As she was walking around UCLA one day, she remarked to her best friend Nancy, “There are no cute guys here.” Nancy replied, “Sure there are. What about him?” as she pointed across the room. She was pointing at Chet. A conversation started and, for lack of a better cliché, the rest is history.
Allie and I share a similar story. A few years ago, as I was suffering through a vicious bout of the Romanian chicken pox at age 35 (yes, I got the pox in Romania), I would often just sit and ponder life and its direction. I often thought that I would never meet my soul mate, and I was coming to terms with that idea. One simple day, my friend Allison stopped by and said, “I love you – always have since the first day I met you.” Just like that. That simple. We were married shortly after and our daughter, Aberdeen, was born within the year.
So, Priscilla and Chet, I don’t know if this means anything, but don’t be surprised if the Stork is hovering over Marina del Rey.
It should also be noted that I had one of the most amazing times EVER as a wedding photographer. Chet and Priscilla thanks for making me feel like one of your guests!

Many, many thanks to Jonathan Kim of JonKim Photography, who filled in for Allison as she is recovering from childbirth. Jon, your images are outstanding.
