Michal and Solomon’s engagement was shot on the streets of New York in the Meat Packing District in mid-town Manhattan. The first batch of images were taken in The Highline, a public park built on an historic freight rail line elevated above the streets. This section of the park is referred to the Diller-von Furstenberg Sundeck as it was created by a special donation from Diane von Furstenberg (whose store is just below) and Barry Diller. This may just be the coolest and most photogenic urban park I have ever seen. The three photos which end with Solomon jumping were taken under the Standard Hotel NYC, which actually spans over the park. We ended the day with a quick jaunt crosstown to Grand Central Terminal for a few final images before Allison and I had to hop back in a cab and sadly, catch our plane back to Los Angeles. Stay tuned for their beautiful Brooklyn wedding.
