Aloha! We have a special Valentines Day treat for you: Mary and Johns Haiku Mill wedding on Maui. The Haiku Mill is an old sugar mill that was built in the mid 1850s. Over the years it fell into ruin and was literally swallowed up by the northern Maui jungle. Its current owner, Sylvia Hamilton Kerr, bought the property and transformed into one of Mauis leading and most unique event venues. It is seriously one of the most amazing places in the world to get married!
Mary and Johns wedding was the perfect blend of style, intimacy and revelry. John dressed at a private estate in Lahaina where the sun was bright and shining. Mary and her girls got ready in the old and original cane house next to the mill where it rained for the better part of the day. This was one time where the rain on a wedding day added so much to the experience, from the sound, to the color of the sky it was an amazing day! Mahalo!
