Karina and Danny were married at Cicada in downtown Los Angeles. Cicada is located on the first floor of the historic James Oviatt Building near Pershing Square. A Los Angeles Historic-Cultural Monument, the Oviatt Building was completed in 1928 and maintains most of its original French elements. The space where Cicada is located was a high-end haberdashery in the late twenties and thirties. Most of the cabinetry that held the ties and shirts still exists. A Cicada wedding is really a unique experience.
The bridal party got ready at another one of our favorite places: the Los Angeles Athletic Club, just a few doors down. One of our favorite moments of the evening was the Korean parbaek ceremony in which Karina and Danny changed into traditional Korean wedding garments. Enjoy the photos!
