Four Seasons Bora Bora Wedding

FOUR SEASONS BORA BORA WEDDING

Four Seasons Bora Bora
BP 547, Motu Tehotu
98730, French Polynesia

I am going to go out on a limb and just say it. The Four Seasons Bora Bora may be the most beautiful place on Earth to get married. Most people think of it as a honeymoon destination. Did you know that it is becoming increasingly popular as a wedding destination, especially for those who want to combine their wedding and honeymoon into one unforgettable trip? Ann and Conrad are two such people. They decided to have a Four Seasons Bora Bora wedding, and stay for a couple of weeks after for their honeymoon.

A little bit about Ann and Conrad. They hail from Minneapolis, MN, where they run a successful restaurant together: Pizzeria Lola. If you are a fan of Food Network’s Diner Drive-Ins and Dives, you may have seen their restaurant featured. It was the episode with Matthew McConaughey and foodie Andrew Zimmern. They’re famous!

Bora Bora is an island in the Pacific located 45 minutes by plane from the Tahitian mainland. Tahiti is an 8-hour place ride from Los Angeles on Air Tahiti Nui. For how remote Bora Bora seems and feels, it its actually surprisingly close to Los Angeles – only 2 or 3 hours more on the plane than Hawaii. Once you land in Bora Bora, it’s a short boat or ferry ride to any of the hotels. Most of the photos below were photographed on their wedding day. The photos where they are wearing the traditional Tahitian wedding pareus (white sheets) and where they are in the water were photographed on the following day where we spent a great deal of time dodging the rain.

The entire staff at the Four Seasons was beyond accommodating. A very special thanks to everyone at the Four Seasons Bora Bora, especially Marie Perrier, Aurélie, and Melissa Lorenz. Thank you to Ann and Conrad who trusted us to fly half way across the Pacific to document their special trip! Mauruuru!

PS – The team at Callaway Gable goes to Tahiti once or twice a year.Be sure to reach out if you are looking for wedding or elopement photos. In fact, they travel for most of their weddings. Follow the link to see more International Weddings.
