We are based in Los Angeles and travel for 60% of our wedding work. Sometimes it’s a destination wedding in a far-away locale, but often we travel to our clients’ city because they cannot find a local photographer who shoots like we do, or has our experience. As seasoned travelers, we are experts at lowering the travel costs to make this affordable for you.

Yes. In what may be one of the most fascinating aspects of our work, we have photographed (in no particular order or preference) Jewish, Orthodox Jewish, Persian, Persian-Jewish, all Christian religions (including but not limited to Catholic, Armenian Apostolic, Greek Orthodox, Baptist, etc), Hindu, Sikh, Jain, Muslim, Zoroastrian, Buddhist and more - literally every religion in the world. In fact, we have photographed a Bengali wedding in Mamallapuram in Southeast India, a Lutheran wedding outside of Stockholm, Sweden and a Maohi Protestant wedding in Tahiti.

Someone who places a high value on photography, realizing that one of the only things they will have after their wedding are their photos. Except for the occasional attention-seeker, our clients are not the most comfortable having their picture taken. However, they want to look their most gorgeous on the most important day of their lives and look to us for guidance and direction. Further, they highly value moments and photojournalism, realizing these once-in-a-lifetime photos will bring them a smile later in life. Finally, they want to collaborate with a professional who takes charge and gets the job done so they can relax and be in the moment on their wedding day.

Experience. Talent. Mastery. A willingness to go above and beyond for our clients to make them happiest beyond their wildest expectations. We are unparalleled when it comes to both creating dynamic and spontaneous portraits and in-the-moment award-winning wedding photojournalism. Additionally, we are a former actor and model and as such, have a unique understanding of how uncomfortable it can be in front of the camera. This is important, and in our opinion, is the key to outstanding wedding photography. By quickly establishing an environment of levity and genuinely connecting with you and your families, we quickly quash the nerves so you are in the moment and look your best on the most important day of your life.
Obsessed. We don’t stop. There is always something to capture, a story to tell that you aren’t seeing. If we stopped to take a break, that picture of grandma with the grandkids might be missed, and that is simply unacceptable. As parents to two teenagers, we understand more than most that a wedding is the marriage of families, not just two people. The story to capture extends to those people as well.
Don’t take our word for it though. We are one of the most-awarded wedding studios in the US and world for over a decade, going on 15 years. Additionally we teach other photographers, having keynoted conferences in the US, Canada and India, and have appeared on the Nikon stage as a Nikon Featured Speaker.

Use this script: Brian and Allison have been photographing weddings around the world for over 15 years: Orthodox Jewish weddings in New York, Indian weddings in India, etc. In all that time they have never missed or been late to a wedding or event. They are season destination wedding travelers who are often quoted in the wedding industry for their expertise on travel. Did you know that they fly a day earlier in case of an unforeseen snag, and two days earlier if there is a potential weather issue. And our Collection comes with Day Before and Day Of scouting so that they will know our wedding and reception venues like the back of their hand. Finally, the photos are uploaded to the cloud the night of our wedding so that the photos are safe if something happens to Brian and Allie. Mom, don’t worry. They got us.

Of course. In fact, these posed family photos have the highest probability of being handed down through the generations. We always shoot with our light and natural light so you have both a studio look and a light, airy look. Further, we take many consecutive shots to ensure there is a photo with everyone’s eyes open, and that everyone is looking at the camera. And if there isn’t one, we can always retouch a photo and ‘open eyes’ and fix gazes. These aren’t the sexy marketing photos, so we don’t promote these on our website, however, you can see a sample gallery of family photos here.

We guarantee 100 photos per hour, but usually deliver more. On average, an 8-hour wedding will result in 800-1200 photos. It’s important to note we “do not spray and pray,” hoping that somewhere in the thousands of photos, there might be something useful. No. We are deliberate, patient and connected to the emotion and the action. This means that all of the photos are composed beautifully.
Your online gallery will be ready in 4 weeks, but often it is much sooner. Photos are delivered in high-resolution, without watermarks, and available to be downloaded or transferred to Dropbox or Google Drive. Social media photos are ready a few days after the wedding.

What’s the point of creating all of this wonderful art if it only lives on your computer? You must print your photos and hang them on your wall, and/or create a photo book so that the printed photos will last forever. Our photos and books are printed on Fuji Archive Museum paper, meant to last for generations. Our wedding albums are works of art, made by hand and designed to be displayed in your home. We also offer bespoke canvas, acrylic and more.
