RANGEFINDER: 30 Rising Stars Of Wedding Photography
In the latest issue of Rangefinder Magazine, our own Lead Associate Lauren Belknap is named one of 30 Rising Stars of Wedding Photography – 2014. A Rising Star is a wedding photographer who is selected by the artistic and creative quality and uniqueness of their portfolio and the fact that they are new to the industry, less than 5 years to be exact.
This is HUGE news and an amazing accomplishment! Especially when you consider that Lauren first came to work with us only 3 summers ago and just 2 months after graduating from Brooks College in Santa Barbara. Since that time we have continually worked with Lauren on her craft while photographing weddings with us in places like Bora Bora, Hawaii, Mexico and all over the US. She even had a small image of Bachelorette DeAnna Pappas on the cover of US Weekly!
She is a rare talent who now primarily shoots as a Lead photographer for Callaway Gable, and trains our newest shooters. You can see her portfolio on our Callaway Gable Associates page. Lauren exemplifies the idea that hard work does pay off, and no one deserves this more than she. Way to go Lauren!!! We love you and cannot wait to see whats next!
