Event Solutions magazine Spotlight Awards nominees have been announced and Brian has been nominated for Rising Male Star of the Year! The Spotlight Awards are an annual awards presentation dedicated to recognizing the best and the brightest event professionals in the industry. The awards are presented in a variety of categories and honor both individuals and companies for their body of work in the previous year.
The nomination process is lengthy and requires several essays on specific jobs and challenges and samples of work. From the many people who enter, only 5 are chosen by the board as Finalists.
The Spotlight Award process is conducted in three phases over the course of four months: submitting nominations, selection of finalists and industry-wide voting to determine the winners, who are presented their awards in person at the annual Spotlight Awards event at the Event Solutions Idea Factory. This year the presentation will be held on March 12, 2013 at the Mirage Resort and Casino, Las Vegas.
The Spotlights are the only industry awards in which the winners are chosen based equally on merit by a judging panel of top industry professionals and by votes from their peers. They offer an exciting and unique opportunity to connect with the entire event industry. Voters will be able to view each entrants Spotlight Award Profile online.
