Perhaps one of Los Angeles' most iconic landmarks, the Griffith Observatory is the perfect spot for Los Angeles engagement photos - especially for those who love the city of LA. Located on Mount Hollywood in the Los Feliz neighborhood area, the Griffith Observatory hosts a commanding view of the Los Angeles basin. Open to the public, the only restriction for engagement photos is no tripods. One last thing to consider: there are always lots of people and tour groups. So plan accordingly and be patient.

One of the things we love most about shooting Griffith Observatory Engagements is framing in the iconic architecture of the building with the City of Los Angeles below. With every corner and turn, there are an infinite amount of creative possibilities. We especially love the south walkway with the telescopes, the second floor and the grounds to the east of the main building.
