The Parker Palm Springs may be the coolest hotel in California. Designed by the king of Modern American Glamour, Jonathan Adler, the resort is expertly dressed up with interesting decor and furniture. When you step outside there is a commanding view of the San Jacinto Mountains. The pathways and gardens are surrounded by towering vegetation which makes it feel very private. Every section of the hotel feels secluded. Perhaps this is why the Parker is so popular for a Palm Springs wedding. It feels like you have the entire resort to yourself. Especially when you consider the amazing staff, led by the amazing Catering Manager Shannon Romjin, make sure you and your wedding guests have a private experience. It’s unlike any other hotel.
Lauren and Billy are also amazing. This was an emotional day and we were so happy to be with them and their kids throughout the tears and laughter. The day started in the Gene Autry house. This is a villa on the property that used to be the home of Gene Autry. (Side note history alert! Back in the 1960’s, Gene Autry bought the property to house his baseball team, the California Angels – now the Los Angeles Angeles, during Spring Training.) They were married on the Grand Lawn, where the reception was also held. Again, this is what I love about this hotel. I don’t think we saw any other hotel guests the entire day! Planned by our new friend and collaborator Kelsey Timberlake from Vanity Affair Events, the day was flawless.
Lauren wore a gorgeous custom gown made by Amy Sim from Grace Mariée. Billy wore a custom suit from Joe Mueller at Wildwood and Company. They both looked amazing!
