Kate and Mikes Smog Shoppe Wedding was extra special for us – Kates parents are wedding photographers. You can imagine what joy it brought us to see her parents experiencing the wedding as parents and not photographers. We couldnt help but think of this moment in the future when both of our girls get married. What an amazing day!
Smog Shoppe is one of our favorite venues in Los Angeles. It used to be an actual smog testing station in the 1980s. Located on La Cienega in Culver City the owners transformed into one of the greenest buildings in Los Angeles. The solar panels produce over 100% of its electricity. It has a 10,000 gallon storm water management system, a 1,500 gallon rainwater tank, and over 2,000 sq. feet of drought tolerant vertical gardens that keep SmogShoppe in check with water. It is truly one of the more unique and eco-responsible venues in Southern California.
